Asus Taichi Available for Pre-order

Asus Taichi was presented by Asus as an ultrabook that can be folded or rotated into tablet. The concept is not really new since we already saw many convertible tablet, however two IPS displays installed by Asus on Taichi. The displays are located inside and outside the display lid. The displays can be independently control, so different or the same content can be displayed on it.

Switching between the different display modes of the display can be done by software or by a button located on the left side. Subjectively, the color reproduction of both displays is different. The brightness of both displays is good. Both displays have their own lighting unit.

When folded, the Asus Taichi is in tablet mode. Equipped with Windows 8, and the touch screen is conveniently operated with the fingers. Hands-on inputs were implemented quickly. The internal display does not support touch input.

Asus Vivo Book S202E Review - Compact 11-inch Notebook with a touchscreen

Asus Zenbook UX32 priced at the same level as the New MacBook Air. However, the Asus ultrabook comes with more advantages compared to Apple’s MacBook Air. Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 - Design, processing and display

The Transformer Prime is the first Android tablet with quad-core processor. It impressed not only with lots of power, but also with a sleek design and elegant metal case in the tradition of Asus Zenbook series. However, the developers of sheer elegance apparently neglected the practical benefits - the built-in GPS module is a real problem.

The manufacturer has learned from his mistakes and will make with the new Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 better from the beginning. Therefore, although the majority of the housing is machined again chic metal including elegant concentric circles on the back, however, Asus has the Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 at the top of a narrow plastic strip behind which the antennas for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and - in our version - also hide UMTS and LTE. This should fix reception problems. Unfortunately, the plastic is not quite fit perfectly into the metal garb, on closer inspection you realize that it protrudes slightly above the metal in places. This diminishes the excellent overall impression of the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700.

Our Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700 weighs about 1.32lbs. Asus uses for his latest top model like with the Transformer Prime an IPS panel, which convinces with particularly bright playback and superior viewing angles. In terms of resolution the manufacturer has increased the resolution to 1.920x1.200 pixels - more than full HD. Thus the pixel density of 149 pixels per inch jumps (PPI) to 224 PPI. Asus Transformer Pad TF300 LTE is coming to Germany

Asus Transformer Pad TF300 LTE was introduced by Asus at MWC in Barcelona. The integrated LTE modem by Qualcomm allows transfer rates of up to 100 Mbit / s download and up to 50 Mbit / s upload. Like the other member of the series the TF300TL use an optional docking keyboard.

The 10.1-inch IPS display of the new release solves 1280 x 800 pixels and is protected by scratch resistant glass. The Asus tablet is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core CPU with 1.2 GHz. In addition, the Tegra 3 offers an integrated GPU with twelve cores that will provide high quality graphics.

Asus Zenbook Prime UX21A Review - 11.6-inch Premium Ultrabook with Full-HD Display

Asus Zenbook UX32VD Ultrabook Review

The Asus Zenbook UX32VD opens a new chapter for an outdoor mobile computer development. The ultrabook is comes with light and elegant housing and equipped with non reflective IPS display for optimum outdoor use.

Externally, the Asus Zenbook UX32VD is not different than the Zenbook UX31 or Zenbook Prime UX31A. Only the details you can see slight modification to the shape of the base unit. Asus Zenbook UX31 Ultrabook Reviewed

Asus Zenbook UX31 delivers true ultrabook experience. Asus is using its brand new series Asus Zenbook to enter the relatively immature ultrabook market from the beginning. Let’s find out whether the slim Asus 13 inch laptop with a slim housing that was constructed entirely from a single block of aluminum is worth for its price.

The Asus Zenbook UX31 came within a week after the Aspire S3. Back then, it was available in two sizes: the 11.6-inch called Asus Zenbook UX21 and the Asus Zenbook UX31 with 13.3.

This test is using the UX31-DH52, which costs about $1099. Another model, the UX31-DH53, provides double SSD capacity and costs about $300 more. Otherwise the two models are essentially the same.

Asus 13.3 Inch Laptop in Review - Asus U32U

Ultrabook is a great mobile device but the price is quiet expensive for most potential buyers, thanks to AMD yet another alternative to choose from: Based on the APU, the E-series has a wide range of affordable ultrabook-like laptop, and one of them is the Asus U32U. 

The compact Asus 13.3 inch model quipped with the fast 1.65 GHz dual-core E-450, impressive 6 GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive. A special highlight, however, is the strong 8-cell battery, which should bring the Asus laptop very long running time. 

With a starting price of less than $500 the Asus U32U is great alternative to the more expensive ultrabooks.

ASUS Zenbook Review: ASUS N56VZ-ES71

Asus Zenbook’s journey continues, the manufacturer presents the ASUS N56VZ-ES71 as a multimedia laptop with the latest Ivy Bridge architecture. The entire design is being revised. A special highlight of this series is an external subwoofer from Bang & Olufsen, which is designed to improve the sound quality. 

The ASUS N56VZ-ES71 sports a fast Intel Core i7 3610QM with four cores. The graphics card is Nvidia GeForce GT 650M with 2 GB of memory. This combination, along with 8 GB of memory, is ready to run the latest games and HD video in high performance. 

In order for the enjoyment of games and movies, more and more laptop manufacturers are equipping their product with a good speaker system. Asus Laptop, like its predecessor, thought it a step further and provides the Zenbook with a small external subwoofer to complement the mostly middle height and heavy sounds of the laptop. The technology comes from the Danish manufacturer Bang & Olufsen.
