Asus Transformer Pad TF300 LTE was introduced by Asus at MWC in Barcelona. The integrated LTE modem by Qualcomm allows transfer rates of up to 100 Mbit / s download and up to 50 Mbit / s upload. Like the other member of the series the TF300TL use an optional docking keyboard.
The 10.1-inch IPS display of the new release solves 1280 x 800 pixels and is protected by scratch resistant glass. The Asus tablet is powered by Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core CPU with 1.2 GHz. In addition, the Tegra 3 offers an integrated GPU with twelve cores that will provide high quality graphics.
The DDR3-1333 memory is 1 GB in size. There are also 32 GB of flash ROM and 8 GB of online storage. The operating system of Asus Transformer Pad TF300 LTE is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
In addition to LTE supports, the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 LTE also sports IEEE 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth 3.0 with EDR and GPS. For photo and video recording (up to 1080p), an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash is built into the back. For video calls purpose there is a 1.2-megapixel webcam in the front.
Connections to audio jacks, a micro-HDMI 1.4 port and a Micro-SD card slot is available. The docking keyboard extends the interface selection to a USB 2.0 port and an SD card reader. In single mode, the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 LTE tablet will survive up to 9.5 hours with no outlet. Is it connected to the keyboard, the running time increases by an additional battery according to the manufacturer to a maximum of 14 hours.
Like the other Transformer Pads, the LTE model measures 26.3 x 18.1 x 1 inch and weighs 635 grams, the docking keyboard is 1.02 inches thick and 546 grams.
Asus plans to offer the Asus Transformer Pad TF300 LTE in three colors: blue, red and white. It costs € 629 bundled with the docking keyboard. Without the keyboard docking each cost € 100 less. The white color variant will be sold exclusively by O2 without a dock. Supplied with a power cord, a short manual and a cleaning cloth are included. The warranty period is two years, including pick-up service.
